A Victorian park and garden in the Lake District, Fell Foot in early Spring has masses of daffodils, followed by rhododendrons flowering. There oaks and pines down to the lake shore. The house that it once owned the gardens was demolished years ago.
The National Trust has a full restoration programme under way to re-create the gardens to their former glory.
The attractive seven hectare grounds are open throughout the year, have access to the lake shore, and there are numerous picnic sites. You can hire boats at the lake
